It’s crazy how small it is compared to my old nspire, which seems like a dinosaur in comparison.
Haven’t had much time to play with it, but I really like it so far! The display is a little scratched up, but I got it 50% off normal price, so I can’t really complain.

Yep, that’s what I ordered. I kind of like it, makes it theft-deterrent.

Yep, I just need to download the software.

The day my school loans nspire CX’s is the day I earn a bajillion dollars playing the lottery.
My school loans TI-84s.

I have a CX CAS. I was also looking at the school property one HAHA love the yellow trim. Some come with a yellow cover I think.

How long does the battery last on this piece?

How’s the CAS? My next calculator will definitely be CAS-equipped.
And I too like the yellow trim. I can get used to the School Property part.

My students have learned not to ask about borrowing a calculator as I either hand them my personal Ti-85 from when I was in high school or an even older HP graphing calculator that is RPN.

I owe my sanity to my Nspire CAS.

Here I am, just “making do” with my 50g.

Last and fanciest calculator I ever bought. Lives in my briefcase, use it everyday. Have a TI86 as backup but haven’t fired it up since 2004 or so.

Older than an 85? 48G? If anyone ever does borrow it, you’ve got a future engineer on your hands.
![]() 01/27/2016 at 23:23 |

Yes it is a 48G, though I’m not sure what specific model it is.

It’s been two years since I got it and like, it’s definitely worth the money but I don’t think I’ll ever know all 100% of the functions on a CAS. But when I learn to do something CAS can do, it’s amazing.

I’ve actually played Doom on a Sansa C200 MP3 player, even with its tiny 132x80 display. I bet it would look quite nice on that calc.

Here are the ones that got me through high school and college. I think I still have them around somewhere.

Computer Algebra System....your current calculator has that, it’s basically the whole point of it, how do you not know that?
Did you just buy it to play games on?
